The Andy Russell Celebrity Classic

Now in its 36th year, the Andy Russell Celebrity Classic, a Pittsburgh tradition, is recognized as one of the most distinctive golf tournaments in western Pennsylvania. Throughout the years, this event has raised over $5 million for many worthwhile programs including the Children’s Hospital Free Care Fund, programs at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) such as the Children’s Neurosurgery Project, the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, the Hillman Cancer Center, the Center for Sports Medicine and the Andy Russell Charitable Foundation.

Sponsor and Athlete Gala
The Sponsor and Athlete Gala will be held on Thursday, May 17th at the East Club Lounge at Heinz Field. The party is a great social event, and it’s also a wonderful opportunity for sponsors to meet the celebrity golfers, entertain clients and meet other sponsor participants.  This year’s event features silent and live auctions.  Live auction packages in previous years have included:

* Napa Valley Trip with Private Wine Tastings and Tours

* Steelers vs. Browns Travel and Game Package

* Private Dinner with Andy Russell and Special Guests

* Private Wine Tasting at the Russell Home and Dinner at The Club at Nevillewood with Andy Russell and Special Guests

* One-Week Stay at the Russell’s Aspen, Colorado Ranch

Golf Tournament
The tournament will take place on Friday , May 18th at The Club at Nevillewood with a Noon shotgun start. Dinner and prizes will follow.

This year the proceeds from the tournament will support the Department of Urology at UPMC, the  UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program and the Andy Russell Charitable Foundation
